The Details:

Meet Hannah Watson. After her husband, Rhodes purchases his family's old once-grand now run-down mansion in Coastal, Ontario, the speck-on-the-map water-front Georgian Bay town, Hannah's life is entirely uprooted. Rhodes' sudden passing drives her to do the one thing she never thought she would - move into the gaudy house. 












She soon realizes there's so much more than meets the eye in Coastal, the tight-knit town where cute shops, coffee parlours, trendy markets and wooden gazebos occupy every corner of the space. And Rhodes' family home she inherited - The Halloway House - is right at the centre of the unfolding otherworldly mystery. 

She soon realizes that The Halloway House has an odd power over her. She occupies her time with her charming new neighbour, Coleson Lanmer who offers to help her restore the majestic home, but as they make plans to remodel, unexpected guests appear, like the elegant Estella Halloway and the unnervingly magnetic, Porter Ellison who Hannah cannot seem to get out of her head. Though she's quite sure these guests lived a very long time ago...











As she grieves her husband, all while pulling ancient wallpaper off the towering walls, Hannah must come to terms with the new chapter ahead of her, knowing nothing good comes from living in the past. She's being pulled deep into the inner workings of a story and a town she never knew she was so much a part of, and a new love that seems to evade time itself.

It's like episodes of your favourite TV show all wrapped up in the decadence of a written letter.
