I am SO very excited to announce the official launch of my home decor and design business, Sand + Heart! As many of you know, my company name is a play on my first novel, Heartsand and I love how the two things that are so close to me are connected in such a way. It really warms my heart haha. The life behind this new venture came from my fascination with bringing old things to life again, rejuvenating some forgotten piece of decor like a picture frame, a wooden mirror, a vase, and even a tiny table into something stylish and chic. I believe the term for it is upcycle. So that's the primary focus of Sand + Heart because I believe in eliminating any waste I can in this world and because I think chalk paint is so damn fun. Amirite?? The collection will also include other brand new items like paintings done by me. And any other eccentric thing I decide to create that I just feel will look really great in your home.
