Getting My Hike On and Other Activities To Do in Killarney

Hey! Following up on my summer adventure list, I thought I would share some of the things I got up to this past weekend. It was a perfect weekend to head to the cottage and that I did, in Killarney. I was only there a few days but I did manage to get in some canoeing, hiking, a trip to the lighthouse and a few cold ones by the campfire. Perfect activities to unwind with friends and recover from a hectic work week!

I didn’t get to the Crack this time – the trail I mentioned in the previous post – but I did hit up a few shorter trials nearby. After, a trip to the lighthouse on Georgian Bay was the perfect way to cool off. That’s me, below, freezing my butt off after jumping into the chilly waves! But you couldn’t not go in the water! For my friends and family and I, swimming in those lighthouse waves is practically tradition!

If you’re looking for a nature getaway or just a brief pause from city life, I would definitely recommend Killarney Provincial Park!
